Mission Statement
To provide all youth with the opportunities to experience their local,
state, and national parks, while embracing cultural diversity.

How

  1. Leading on-site trips to local, state, and national parks.
  2. Providing volunteer, employement, and internships oppurtunities in
    all aspects of the environmetal field.
  3. Connecting youth to other resources.
  4. Visiting local elemtary and Junior high schools to provide
    environmetal stewardship role models.

Targeted Youth
All youth are welcomed, but priority will be given to those of low
income households, at risk youth, first generation immigrant families of
any nationality, and youth that demostrate interest.

Goals
(within 6 months)

  • start setting up a base frame for the organization.
  • attain 5 elders to serve on "the flabas" advisory council
  • raise money to buy recruitment material, camping material, draw up a list of office material needed.
  • research location to gain sponsorship and to set-up a stable meeting place.

(within 1 year)

  • 1st trip to a local,sate, and backpacking trip in a national park.
  • raise funds for a transportation vehicle.
  • expand membership.
